The use of ultrasound is impossible to imagine without anaesthesia, intensive care medicine and emergency medicine. This innovation success is mainly due to the superiority of ultrasound diagnostics as a point-of-care procedure. The advantages of this procedure are - in addition to the thoracoabdominal diagnostics - particularly clear in the system of peripheral nerve blocks and the puncture of central vessels to light. Mastering the technology can increase the success of our medical practice and reduce the incidence of patient harm.
As part of our 24th Göttingen Sonography Course, we offer you the opportunity with the integrated certified DGAI modules 1-5 after anesthesia-focused sonography (AFS), in addition to the basics of ultrasound technology (AFS 1) the system of vascular access (AFS 2 ) and the techniques of neurosonography (AFS 3), cardiosonography (AFS 4) and thoracoabdominal sonography (AFS 5).
The close collaboration with the Center for Anatomy also enables the theoretical and practical deepening of the learning content of subjects, models, anatomical specimens and corpses.
We hope to do justice to our field of expertise with this comprehensive course concept, their thirst for knowledge and the importance of ultrasound.
