Dear members
and colleagues
We are very pleased to invite you to the annual meeting of the Swiss Society for Intensive Care Medicine (SGI), which will take place from 22.-24. September 2021 in Interlaken.
We are convinced that we can again offer you an interesting and practice-relevant annual conference. As usual, the focus of the conference is on the idea of interprofessionalism. We also use popular training formats.
The “Pre-Congress Day” on Wednesday consists of the ICU Management Seminar, the two educational courses including practice-oriented workshops on the topics of “Trauma / Neurology” and “Crisis Resource Management” and the three nurse education workshops on “Nasal High” -Flow therapy vs. non-invasive ventilation? "," Open case discussion with a patient "and" Communication in the organ donation process ". The ICU management seminar in the coming year will be dedicated to our deceased honorary member Professor Hansueli Rothen, who founded the ICU management and, unfortunately, actively accompanied him until his death, which was far too early.
The two subsequent days of the annual conference offer valuable and exciting main lectures by national and selected international experts as well as abstract presentations and an ePoster exhibition as advanced training opportunities. The motto of the multi-faceted program is “The focus is on people” .
In this sense, the annual conference is again an ideal platform, which we missed a lot last year, to maintain networks, exchange experiences with colleagues and return to everyday work with new ideas.
During the breaks, they also have enough time to visit the diverse industrial exhibition and to talk to the exhibitors.
We look forward to welcoming you again personally in Interlaken in September.
