In-Person Annual Congress in New Orleans + On-Demand
The AVLS 2022 Annual Congress will be gathering at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The meeting will comply with Local, State and Federal COVID-19 policies including social distancing and masking. In New Orleans, up to four scientific sessions will concurrently throughout the day. Additionally, the Innovation Pavilion will provide dedicated time for attendees to interact with exhibitors. All in-person attendees will also receive access to all online sessions including the livestream and on-demand content.
At-Home Annual Congress Livestream + On-Demand
The option to attend online only will be available for all registrants. The At-Home Annual Congress includes access to an all-day livestream (one channel) of all sessions occurring in the General Session room in New Orleans. After the in-person event, video recordings of all sessions will be made available online for on-demand viewing. Additionally, attendees will be able to connect each with other and with exhibitors through messaging and information requests on the Congress Event website and mobile app.
Learning Objectives
- Evaluate patients with venous and/or lymphatic disease and describe the interconnections of superficial venous, deep venous, and lymphatic disease.
- Assess the treatment goals that patients want to accomplish and the impact of venous and lymphatic disease on a patient's quality of life.
- Distinguish between the indications and contraindications of different treatment techniques and technologies.
- Diagnose and treat lymphedema and phlebolymphedema.
- Discuss advanced venous and lymphatic diseases and treatments, including wound care and ulcer management.
Target Audience
The primary target audience of the 36th Annual Congress includes physicians, physician assistants, advanced registered nurse practitioners, ultrasound technologists, practice administrators, lymphedema therapists, and all other healthcare professionals currently or planning to care for patients with venous and lymphatic disease.
