Acute catheter interventions will change the way we treat stroke!
Over the last 12 months, several randomized
clinical trials have clearly demonstrated that
embolectomy is superior to lysis. We are facing
a similar situation as with acute myocardial
infarction years ago, when intravenous lysis
was replaced by acute PCI. There are similarities
regarding logistics and some technical aspects
but also very important differences, which we will
discuss at ICCA Stroke, the leading conference
focusing on endovascular stroke treatment.
You are invited to join leading experts and
pioneers in stroke intervention, who will guide
you through the different aspects of stroke
treatment: background, imaging, indication,
how to do it, post-procedural care as well as
avoiding and managing complications.
Learn from leading interventional stroke
centers and our multidisciplinary faculty and
get to know the newest devices for catheterbased
treatment in acute stroke.
